Empowering Creativity

Sparrow&Button is a creative play program for children, where we bring the fun to you...we customise creative programs to suit your themes and the benefits are endless. From developing fine and gross motor skills, visual processing, coordination, sensory awareness to language development, problem solving, social skills and curious thinkers through art, the list could go on, but shhhh don’t tell them as it’s an awful lot of fun! Children are given the creative tools to explore different materials and express themselves imaginatively. At Sparrow&Button we promote the process of making and doing rather than the product, to be spontaneous and have no boundaries in self-expression. 

The nature of our activities and learning experiences is to engage active children through creative and imaginative play and cater for different learning styles, needs and abilities. The children lead the way and are free to roam amongst the different experiences, trying and discovering new things. Children develop their sense of belonging and their world by exploring colours, textures, shapes, senses and processes in a fun, supportive and engaging environment.

A qualified teacher facilitates each session at Sparrow&Button, where we run incursions, OSHC programs, holiday workshops, parties and pop up events around Melbourne. To discuss your specific requirements please contact Olivia on 0422 629 631

School based group recommendations

Sparrow&Button cater for groups of 25 children. Sessions run for approximately an hour depending on age groups, allow an hour for set up and an hour for pack down. We can run back to back sessions with a 20 minute pack down and set up in between. It’s great when adults join in and even create a masterpiece for themselves, we suggest having three parent helpers, specifically for the following experiences Colour Create, Build It and Stick and Stamp.

Event recommendations

Sparrow&Button can come to your event, whether it’s a party or a fun pop up event, we can set up our experiences to suit any situation or theme. Specific requirements and costing would depend on the event, simply contact us and we would love to discuss our ideas.
